Overwatch 2 on PS5 and Xbox Series X: 120 FPS support and three performance modes

The Overwatch 2 Beta is out now, with players selected for the trial taking advantage of this first contact with Blizzard’s new hero shooter. Thanks to this new test, some interesting details also emerge related to the next-gen versions of the title. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, in particular, Overwatch 2 will be able to offer a frame rate up to 120 fps.

A fluidity therefore remarkable for the shooter, which will still allow players to select their preferred mode of use in a set of three options. Depending on the desired performance, it will be possible to select the Resolution, Framerate and Balanced mode. In addition, Overwatch 2 ‘s support for VRR ( Variable Refresh Rate), for an even richer experience on the performance front.

The technical features listed here will be supported by the hero shooter exclusively in the versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, while Xbox One and PlayStation 4 do not offer this possibility of choice within the menu of the new Overwatch 2 Beta.
