While Diablo Immortal grinds more than a billion a day thanks to microtransactions, the free-to-play branded Blizzard also welcomes its first additional content since launch, or the raid boss called Vitaath the Frozen Death.
This new enemy is therefore added to the Raids or those clashes that are part of the endgame and that involve a large number of players. In this mode, the group of users are confronted with a particularly powerful enemy with millions and millions of life points, a factor that makes the battle long and suitable only for those who have the best equipment.
In order to face Vitaath the Icy Death in Diablo Immortal, you must first have access to the Inferiquiary, a place where users can start raids and unlock rewards: this game mechanic is unlocked by progressing in the story and it is not necessary to have completed the campaign. If you don’t remember how to find this corner of the map, know that it is located at the heart of the Brand, the city that serves as a base for Blizzard’s free game warriors.
In the Central Square of the hub is a large tree with which to interact to access the Inferiquiary menu. Once the Raid screen is open, click on the second icon in the left column (the one below Lassal the Fireweaver) to unlock Vitaath the Frozen Death and immediately face it with random players or members of the Brigade.
It should be noted that the fight with this boss is much more complex than the one with Lassal and to keep up with the ice boss at the lowest difficulty you need a combat index of 2,000.
For those who do not know what the combat index is, it is the score that establishes the overall value of the equipment and the gems set in the various objects. The defeat of Vitaath grants various rewards, among which we also find his exclusive trophy called Frozen Wing of Frosty Death, which in its basic version adds +30 to the combat index and a 20% chance of parrying in the Rifts of Challenge.
