Last year in May Xiaomi announced the HyperCharge charging technology at 200 W via cable and 120 W in wireless mode and it seems that the Chinese manufacturer is finally ready to make its first debut.
At least this is what seems to suggest the news of the certification obtained in China by the 3C by a 200 W charger from Xiaomi, a device characterized by the model number MDY-13-EU and which is able to support 20V / 10A (200W).
Basically, Xiaomi seems to be ready to launch its first smartphone capable of supporting this technology, which should be able to recharge a phone in less than 10 minutes.
Unfortunately at the moment, it is not clear when this smartphone will be launched nor which model will be chosen by the Chinese giant to make this technology debut but among the main suspects, we find the Xiaomi Mi MIX 5 (expected in the second part of 2022).
Xiaomi relies on Samsung’s 200-megapixel sensor
Almost a year has passed since Samsung’s launch of its first 200-megapixel sensor but to date, no smartphone has yet made its debut on the market.
Things could soon change thanks to Xiaomi, which apparently plans to make the Xiaomi 12T Pro its first phone with a 200-megapixel sensor and the choice of the Chinese giant could fall on ISOCELL HP3 (a reduced version of the top-of-the-range model).
Among the features of Xiaomi 12T Pro we should find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, an OLED display with Full HD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM, 128 GB or 256 GB of storage memory and a 5,000 mAh battery.
Motorola may also have chosen Samsung’s new generation of photographic sensors and it could be Motorola Edge X30 Pro that introduces the best-performing ISOCELL HP1 sensor. We’ll see.
