One UI Watch 4.5 will change a complete Watch experience

Earlier, we shared the news that the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will receive the stable One UI Watch 4.5 update in the upcoming days. One UI Watch 4.5 pre-install in the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

Samsung’s upcoming Watch UI includes so many new features, designs, customizations, and more. The main highlight is the QWERTY keyboard which Apple introduced a year ago in its Apple Watch Series 7. Take a look at the One UI 4.5 Changelogs which are mentioned below.

One UI Watch 4.5 Changes:

This update introduces customizable watch faces and dual SIM support. If you don’t want to spend a lot of time typing each letter while making a sentence, you can easily swipe to type words. You can also quickly switch to other input methods, such as voice dictation and handwriting, with the rotate bezel gesture.

Samsung has also introduced dual-SIM support for Galaxy Watches, so when you set a preferred SIM on your phone, the same setting is reflected on the watch. You can also easily switch SIM cards on the watch while on a call.

More customization options are provided on OneUI 4.5, and different styles of a watch face can also be saved to favorites. You can easily swipe through your favorites list to set watch faces for different moods.

Samsung is also introducing a slew of accessibility features in this update to make navigation easier for people with visual or hearing impairments. You’ll be able to adjust tint and contrast levels, reduce transparency and blur levels, and turn off animations for better visibility.

Other tools include adjusting the balance of sound output via a Bluetooth headset, extending touch duration and ignoring repeated touches. Users will be able to specify the duration of controls like volume and stay on screen for them to take action.
