Your phone Settings app uses core system software called Settings Services. The software gives permission for setup, connection, and customization for settings on your phone and certain app settings.
The system allows Settings Services for something like displaying information about network connections and connected devices, setting rules for when to activate do not disturb mode, or sending notifications.
Pixel users are supposed to interact with but it’s not something that, before Android 12 QPR3 in June you’d see in the widgets list. The application has been updated through the Play Store since 2018.

- First, on your phone, and then go to the settings app tap to open the settings app.
- Click Location then the App location permissions option appears.
- Tap the Menu option to show the system then tap on the Settings services.
- Access this app tap under the Location and then choose a setting.
- Allow all the time.
- Allow only when using the app.
- Ask every time.
- Don’t allow it.
5. Turn Use precise location on or off.
