Xiaomi consistently distributes its security patch updates for the Mi A3 until the last day. The Xiaomi Mi A3 is now getting the last guaranteed security patch update, the current update brings the July 2022 patch.
The Xiaomi Mi A3 is the last device of the Mi A series with active support. But now it ends. The Mi A3 was launched in July 2019, preinstalled with Android 9. Since then, it has received two operating system upgrades, Android 10 and Android 11.
The update has the version number V12.0.25.0 RFQMIXM and is a mere 8.71 MB in size. It’s a small package, meaning it probably just raised the Android security patch level to July 2022.
Currently, only the worldwide users will receive the update, the European models are expected to receive the update in the next few days.
