Google Play Store New Logo

Google Play Store New Logo

Google Play’s logo was last changed in 2016, when Play Movies & TV, Music and Newsstand were still alive and kicking. Today, 6 years later, the LOGO of the Google Play Store is finally getting an upgrade. The US Trademark and Patent Office has provided a new LOGO, but the pictures in the official documents are very small. Although 9to5Google tries to improve the sharpness through technological means, it is still a bit blurry in comparison.

“The logo is a triangle with rounded edges and is divided into 4 areas: blue on the left, green on the top, yellow on the right, and red on the bottom,” the official description reads. Although this new LOGO is still triangular, the rounded corners have a larger arc, and at the same time, the four colors used are closer to Google’s four colors.

The blue and green sections are not as bright, and the internal zone division has been adjusted so that the four zones appear to be more equal in size. The current LOGO is that the blue area is significantly larger than the other three colors.
