In recent weeks, the Nothing team has managed to create a strong curiosity among enthusiasts and professionals for the company’s first phone, Nothing Phone (1) and after a few days from the official launch, the state of “excitement” still remains high.
After all, the expectations for this smartphone are very high, as there are those who see in Nothing a sort of new OnePlus, which is a company that wants to break the mold and launch phones that can count on important hardware equipment at competitive prices. Nothing Phone (1) is preparing to enter the world of modding
The Nothing team is aware that to be successful in the Android landscape you need to have the community that revolves around the Google OS on your side and so a couple of days ago they released the source codes of the Nothing Phone (1) kernel, in order to make it easier for third-party developers to create custom ROMs for that device.
Well, in the past few hours the Paranoid Android team, one of the most popular custom ROMs, announced on Twitter that a special version dedicated to the first Nothing smartphone is coming.
At the moment there is no precise date but probably in a few weeks, Paranoid Android Sapphire should land in beta on Nothing Phone (1), perhaps with some initial bugs but with an experience that could already be fluid and pleasant.
Other popular custom ROMs should also take up the invitation of Nothing and create builds dedicated to its first smartphone and among them, for example, it is natural to think of LineageOS. Basically, modding enthusiasts could find in Nothing Phone (1) the phone of their desires.
