Edge Canary 105 welcomes Spotlight-like Command Panel feature

As early as June, it was discovered that Microsoft was testing a Spotlight-like launcher to quickly execute related commands in the Edge browser. Sharp-eyed folks recently spotted in the Canary branch that the feature is rolling out under the name “Command Palette” in developer tools. Neowin notes that DevTools Command Palatte is already available in Microsoft Edge Canary version 105.

Microsoft says Command Palatte is designed to help users more easily access Microsoft Edge’s browser management and developer tools. Interested friends can call it by Ctrl+Shift+Space key combination. With this shortcut, you’ll be able to access tabs, bookmarks, and collection management options, and even summon other developer tools (such as simulating a mobile device).

Here’s how to enable Command Palatte in DevTools:

Once enabled, you can enter “Tabs” to manage tabs, or “Bookmarks” to manage bookmark collections. Alternatively, the user can click the ↑ ↓ arrows to select a command and then press Enter to confirm. And click → at the bottom of the toolbar to access developer options.

Finally, interested friends can also move to Microsoft’s official website ( portal ) to learn about the complete functions of the tool.
