French users are the first to receive Pixel Buds Pro

Google’s Pixel Buds Pro recently went up for pre-order along with the Pixel 6a, and the products will start shipping on July 28. But one lucky user got the earphones he pre-ordered ahead of time. Reddit community user u/Linkakox posted on the r/GooglePixel sub-section, saying that he had received the Pixel Buds Pro.

He placed the order through Fnac.com, a French retailer, which began accepting purchases on July 21. However, the “reservation” limit is not displayed on the product page, which means that the product will be shipped directly after the user places an order.

According to the information disclosed by u/Linkakox, the sound quality experience of Pixel Buds Pro is significantly better than that of Pixel Buds A-Series, and it is also larger than the latter in volume. However, he also said that in terms of wearing, it does not give people a “sense of security” as the Pixel Buds A-Series.

The noise reduction experience of Pixel Buds Pro is very good, and it can clearly feel the layers of various sounds. Below is a simple unboxing of the Pixel Buds Pro and a simple comparison with the Pixel Buds A-Series.

On the software side, the existing Pixel Buds companion app doesn’t fully support all the features of the Pixel Buds Pro, such as no ANC settings. However, it is possible to switch between ANC and Transparency modes with a touch. Just press and hold the headset for 2 seconds to switch between the two modes.

And Multipoint can be accessed through the Android system’s settings menu. Multipoint is a Bluetooth function that enables intelligent switching of multiple devices through Fast Pair.
