Gustave Monce, the main creator of the WoA project, released a new set of drivers that allow Windows 10 and Windows 11 ARM systems to run on the original Surface Duo. Previously, version 2207.32 introduced wireless connectivity support, successfully enabling Wi-Fi, cellular, GPS, and eSIM.

Surface Duo driver version 2207.80 is now released, bringing several improvements to the core system driver, initial support for GPU acceleration in WSLg/WSA, support for OS-provided gesture device sensors, added support for cellular phones, VoLTE, RCS, VoWiFi, video conference support.

The updates for version 2207.80 are as follows:

Although the project has received several improvements and enhancements, it is still far from being ready to replace the original Android for everyday use. Microsoft has officially stopped supporting Windows 10 Mobile before, but with the efforts of the WoA project developers, there will still be developers to refresh the old Lumia models and new Android models into the new system.

A group of independent developers has been maintaining an unofficial Windows on ARM project for the past few years, known as WOA, as Microsoft provides a compatible version of Windows 10 for ARM devices. After Microsoft released the Windows 11 ARM version, there are new systems to try.

Starting in 2019, the Lumia mobile phone flashing Windows 10 ARM (WOA) project, which is a collection of third-party developers, was previously launched on GitHub, including all LumiaWOA-related projects.
