According to reports, a year ago, Huawei launched the upgrade of HarmonyOS 2 on 100 Huawei models. HarmonyOS 2 has achieved an upgraded record of over 100 million in 100 days. The version upgrade rate is as high as 77%, making it the fastest-growing smart terminal operating system in history.
Yu Chengdong, Huawei’s executive director and CEO of Terminal BG, said that as of July, more than 300 million Huawei devices were equipped with HarmonyOS 2. At the same time, the Hongmeng ecosystem is also developing rapidly, and the shipment of Hongmeng Zhilian products has exceeded 170 million.
It is reported that the HarmonyOS 2 system uses a lot of distributed technology, supports multi-camera mode, multi-device combined photography, mobile phones, tablets, watches and even drones can be interconnected.
At the same time, the system also brings a brand-new UI interaction method, and a large number of card-style designs are applied, such as the unified control center, HarmonyOS desktop, etc., which are easy to use and have a concise interface.
In terms of performance, Huawei has made a lot of optimizations to the bottom layer of HarmonyOS 2, which improves performance by 42% and saves more power.
