It has not been long since the release of the first update for Xiaomi Band 7, but the much-appreciated fitness band is preparing to receive a second update that brings the software to version 1.19.15. The new update introduces some new features in terms of functionality and fixes some known bugs.
Xiaomi is currently releasing a second update for Band 7, introducing several new features. First, version 1.19.15 of the fitness band software introduces interval training for some sports modes. Secondly, the ability to change the font color of the photo dial was added, and finally, a new world clock was introduced.
Many bugs were fixed, including the sudden restart of Xiaomi Band 7, the superimposed display of long messages, and of the restoration of the intensity of the vibration after restarting the device. Beyond that, Xiaomi claimed to have minimized Band 7 sudden freezes and solved problems related to significant power consumption.
The update is being released in China, where users with a Xiaomi Band 7 can install the new version of the software via the Zepp Life app. It is not yet known if and when the update will be made available in other markets as well, nor if all the new features will arrive on global models. We’ll see.
