Apple hires ex-Lamborghini executive to join EV car project

A former Lamborghini executive has joined Apple to work on developing electric vehicles. Apple hired Luigi Taraborrelli, a 20-year Lamborghini veteran, to help lead the design of the electric car. According to the data, Taraborrelli is responsible for the research and development of Lamborghini’s chassis and vehicle dynamics engineering.

Apple’s plans to develop self-driving cars are almost an open secret in Silicon Valley. While many self-driving car developers have touted the “disruptive” technology, Apple has yet to publicly admit it.

Apple’s car-building project “Titan” has struggled for eight years. In the past eight years, the person in charge has changed by four, and the development goals have also changed. In this way, Apple has faced many challenges such as pointless demonstrations, false hopes, and map obstacles in the process of pushing for “self-driving” cars.
