Microsoft Edge: Cache is automatically compressed from version 102

In order to further optimize the performance of the browser, Microsoft Edge from version 102 on Windows will automatically compress the hard disk cache in the future. This should also improve the memory requirements on the system.

This is particularly advantageous for systems with a “clear” amount of available storage space, which is otherwise quickly used up with unlimited cache. So as soon as you have installed at least Edge in version 102, the compression of the cache data is automatically activated.
