August 2022 patch rolled out for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G smartphone was launched on 23rd July 2020. The phone comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen primary display with a resolution of 1080×2636 pixels at a pixel density of 425 pixels per inch (PPI). It also features a 1.10-inch as its second display, with a resolution of 112×300 pixels at a pixel density of 303 pixels per inch (PPI).

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is powered by a 2.95GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G runs Android 10 and is powered by a 3300mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G supports wireless charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G on the rear packs a 12-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a pixel size of 1.4-micron, and a 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.12-micron. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 10-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.4 aperture and a pixel size of 1.22-micron.

Recently, Samsung released an August 2022 security patch update to its top Galaxy S series devices in Germany, South Korea and the UK. Now the South Korean tech firm released the same patch update for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G (SM-F707B) in Switzerland. This build comes with the firmware number F707BXXU6GVG5. Samsung is yet to release August 2022 patch details, in this update the company includes minor changes.

Owners of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G can receive notification of this update. By chance you don’t receive an update notification then check the update manually by going to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
