Exactly a year has passed since the launch of The Ascent, Neon Giant’s ambitious (and controversial) cyberpunk action. In celebrating this important anniversary, the Swedish software house publishes a teaser trailer that heralds the imminent reveal of a new large additional content.
The first anniversary of the exclusive temporal release on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S (the PS4 and PlayStation 5 versions of The Ascent are available from March 24 of this year) is remembered by Neon Giant with a message of thanks for their community and all those who, in recent months, have actively supported their project.

As for the future, the teaser packaged by the Northern European authors ideally brings us back to the dystopian dimension of The Ascent to invite fans to prepare for the work that awaits them and “equip themselves properly for a new Contract “. It is not clear if the new activity promised to us by Neon Giant will be offered with a free Major Update or if, on the contrary, it will be an even larger mission and linked to a paid expansion.
With Gamescom 2022 scheduled between 24 and 28 August, everything suggests the participation of the Swedish developers (and the publisher Curve Digital) in the German videogame festival to reveal these unpublished contents.
