Samsung postponed One UI 5.0, but why?

Google released an initial developer preview of its next-generation Android update earlier this year, suggesting that the public release of the new Android version will also be earlier than usual. Recently, some well-known tipster claims that the Android 13 stable update will be rolled out in August but it doesn’t seem to be happening.

Samsung may postpone the launch of One UI 5.0 due to Google

Earlier, Google rolled out Android 13 security patch details for the month of August 2022 and the changelog suggests that the Android 13 will launch along with the September 2022 security patch update. This could lead Samsung to postpone the release of its Android 13-based Android One UI 5.0 interface.

At this time, it is not clear yet when the South Korean tech firm plans to launch the One UI 5.0 beta but today we made an article that mentioned the One UI 5.0 beta arrived in the Galaxy S22 in South Korea.

It was previously planned that One UI 5.0 would be released by October, but it now appears more reasonable to expect Android 13-eligible Galaxy devices to receive the update by November of this year. Samsung is preparing for the Unpacked event on August 10 where it will unveil its next foldable smartphone.
