Overwatch 2 won’t have a third test game to play new characters

According to the latest report shared by Blizzard, the most awaited game of Blizzard (Overwatch 2) will not have a third test event, as confirmed by the company. The news comes from Blizzard VP Jon Spector, who wrote in a recent tweet: “While we will continue to test OW2 internally on a daily basis, we currently have no plans to launch an additional open beta test.”

Jon Spector also mentioned that the development team will “focus on creating the best possible experience for the game launching on October 4, based on all the valuable feedback we’ve received from the alpha test and 2 open beta tests”.

As for the source of the third public test speculation, some sources speculated that it was the “unannounced support hero” mentioned by Blizzard earlier. According to the “practice” of the previous two beta tests, players believed that Blizzard planned “one beta test”. Announcing a new hero”, so there should be another beta event.

However, from this point of view, Blizzard should not start the open test event again, and this new support hero can only be played when the game is officially launched.
