In a recent exchange on social media, the well-known leaker Tom Henderson drew inspiration from Schreier’s latest revelations on GTA 6 to share some interesting reflections on the welcome that, he says, will be reserved for the next chapter of Grand Theft Auto by fans of the iconic Rockstar series.
For the “deep throat” that in recent years has repeatedly given proof of reliability with its advances regarding (among others) the series of Battlefield, Call of Duty and GTA, the next blockbuster free roaming by Rockstar Games is destined to become one of the most divisive and, at the same time, most successful video games in history.
I’m on the fence about how I feel about GTA’s future. I love the humor/satire, but I also know that times have changed and some stuff isn’t appropriate “these days”. Rockstar has a huge balancing act to figure out IMO. But I think no matter what they do, it won’t be enough tbh.

According to Henderson, in fact, “it doesn’t matter what GTA 6 offers in terms of map, characters, story and activities to do. I can’t help but think the community will hate it. Well, it will probably be the best-selling game of all. the times, but I’m really curious to find out what reaction it will trigger in the fans”.
Net of the considerations on the almost predictable sales record of GTA 6, for the leaker the divisive nature of the work that, according to him, would be carried out by Rockstar could cause a real earthquake in the community, especially in the function of the change of tone and direction of GTA 6 suggested by many reports: “When I think about the future of GTA I am undecided about how I should feel. I love the humor and the biting satire of the series, but I also know that times have changed and some things may not be more appropriate. The work that awaits Rockstar in figuring out what new balances are to be found is truly enormous. But I think that whatever they do, it won’t be enough. ”
