Elden Ring Patch 1.06 improved PC performance

This morning we made an article and reported that Bandai games sent an update to Elden Ring with version 1.06 and in this update the company has updated some points. Shortly after the update was launched, a YouTuber named MxBenchmarkPC made a comparison video of the new update and the old version of Elden Ring. The comparison was done using a configuration that includes an Intel i7-10700F CPU and an 8GB RTX 3050, with the resolution set to 1080p and with the maximum settings.

Patch 1.06 notes talked about generic “performance improvements” and in the video, we can actually see a small performance boost. Let me be clear, nothing shocking, but it is certainly positive that FromSoftware is still working on the optimization of Elden Ring despite several months having passed since its launch.

It is currently unclear whether Elden Ring’s performance on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One has also improved or not since the introduction of the latest update. To know for sure we will have to wait for further analysis.

Patch 1.06 of Elden Ring made several changes to the multiplayer and in particular, the PvP, introduced an alternative method to advance in the Varre quest and solved a number of issues. Among other things, a glitch that triggered a sort of hard mode was also eliminated.
