Apple Safari Technology Preview 151 rolling out

Apple has evolved continuously exposers with various classes, it’s currently aware that the launch of the new beta version is ‘iOS 16 beta 5‘. It upgrades numerous services and releases to its developers for testing. The latest beta contains a handful of new features and changes involving the Messages app, Home app, Mail app, Lock Screen notifications, CarPlay, including percentage on battery sign and more.

The experimental browser Apple first introduced in march 2016. Apple has released today a news update for Safari Technology Preview. Safari Technology Preview is designed by Apple to test features that may be introduced into futures release versions of Safari. Safari Technology Preview‌ release 151 includes bug fixes and performance improvements for Web Inspector, WebDriver, CSS, Rendering, Media, JavaScript, Web API, Web Components, Accessibility, Lockdown Mode, and Web Extensions.

The current ‌Safari Technology Preview‌ includes support for features coming in macOS Ventura and the release is built on the Safari 16 update such as Live Text, Passkeys, Web Extension improvements, and more. The new build of ‌Safari Technology Preview‌ is compatible with machines running macOS 13 Ventura, unlike prior versions of ‌Safari Technology Preview‌, but it no longer works with macOS Big Sur.

The ‌Safari Technology Preview‌ update is available through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences to anyone who has downloaded the browser. Full release notes for the update are available on the Safari Technology Preview website.

Apple’s ambition with ‌Safari Technology Preview‌ is to gather feedback from developers and users on its browser development process. Once installed, Safari Technology Preview can be updated through the Software Update function in System Preferences.
