Honor to launch its 2nd foldable phone and Magic UI 7.0 in December this year

Samsung, Oppo, and Xiaomi have released their Foldable phones and their sales are jumping all over the globe with their great capabilities. Honor was stunned to see the sales of fold phones by these companies and it understood that it is necessary to have folding phone series to keep its dominance in the future, so Honor announced that it will launch its second (First is Honor Magic V) foldable device in the last month of the year. The phone will launch along with Honor’s next-gen UI – Magic UI 7.0.

The well-known Weibo tipster Factory Director Shiguan stated the release date Honor Magic V2 and Magic UI 7.0. Honor CEO Zhao Ming previously revealed that Honor will bring more cross-device interconnection and full-scene functions in the next Magic UI 7. Along with this, Huawei will also release its upcoming Mate X3 series and FreeBuds 5 semi-in-ear headphones in December this year.

The new Honor Magic V2 will use a dual-cell charging solution. The capacities of the two batteries are 2030mAh and 2870mAh respectively, and the typical value will reach 5000mAh, which will be the largest among the folding screen phones this year.

Honor Magic V was presented on January 10 this year. The new phone is equipped with a 7.9-inch OLED folding screen, has a built-in 4750mAh battery, and supports 66W wired super fast charging.
