Google rollout Android 12 instead of Android 13

As we all know, last night Google launched its new version of Android so-called Android 13 and Google has also rolled out the August patch which is delayed by 2 weeks. Google Pixel users are very happy that Google rolled out both the updates simultaneously but there has been some issue in the rollout section of Google, probably Google has provided an Android 12 update to some Pixel users instead of Android 13.

No rollout without bugs or other oddities, that’s almost normal at Google. Some users complained in the Android forum that they were already on the Android 12 update and when they checked for updates on their device they got an Android 12 update. Google will have to solve this issue as soon as possible.

This is new in Android 13

The new Android version is less comprehensive than its predecessor. Instead, Google has made an effort to improve and expand a few existing features. For example, there are many more color palettes for Material You’s dynamic colors. But things like the media player in the Quick Settings will also be improved and there will even be a QR code scanner integrated directly into the system!

Google restricts external apps’ access to files and media, expands data protection/privacy functions, no longer allows apps to automatically deliver notifications, better controls the clipboard, allows other languages on a per-app basis and improves multitasking. There are also a few innovations for Pixel Launcher.

Android 13 is also the launch of Google Wallet, bringing Game Dashboard to non-Google Pixel devices. Furthermore, seamless synchronizations between your devices are planned. If you copy something on your phone, it is immediately available on your tablet. Bluetooth LE is fully integrated and spatial audio is also supported.
