According to the latest report, Sony has released a fresh software update for the Sony Xperia 1 III in Germany. The German users are now able to update their Sony Xperia 1 III with the latest July 2022 security patch update.
Again Sony has not included the changelog so we are not able to check what’s content including in this update. It can be assumed that these are small performance improvements and bug fixes.
As per the report, this software update comes with the build number 61.1.A.9.219. By the way, this update already rolling out for you. You should probably turn on WiFi for downloading, better safe than sorry. And of course, don’t forget to back up your personal data beforehand!
How To Update:
At the General Settings screen, select Firmware Version. At the Firmware Version screen, tap Update. To start the update installation process, tap the UPDATE button. Note: The system will automatically reboot several times.
