Steps to take Backup Google Photos pictures with Takeout:
As compared to a lot of other export apps Google Takeout is easy to access. The process of backup is very simple to follow. The time to complete the backup it’s all depends on the data you have. If you have a lot of pictures then it takes hours or even days also. Follow the below-mentioned steps to take automatic backup.
- Open Google Chrome, and head to takeout.google.com.
- Tap Deselect all at the top.
- Go down until you see Google Photos and hit the checkmark next to it.
- Tap All photo albums included if you want to select certain albums to backup. Skip if you want everything in the cloud downloaded for storage.
- Then Scroll to the bottom and hit Next step.
- To take automatic Google Photos backup, click Export every 2 months for 1 year. For one and done, hit Export once.
- Select your file type and size.
- Note: Size refers to the limit of each file before it splits into a new file. If you choose a low limit, you’ll end up with more individual files. This does not refer to the total amount of data exported.
- Tap Create export.
After this, your backup start, and then you receive a email where you notify your first backup ready to download. If have little data to take backup it takes less but if you have more then takes hours. This backup you schedule once a year. In that year you receive six different backups from Google services. To set backup once a year should more preferable and save your precious memories.
