Samsung recently unveiled its two new strong smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked Event 2022. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 pre-orders were from August 16 to 22. But, the good sign is the South Korean maker registered nearly 1 million pre-orders of these two devices. The current volume has reached 970,000 units.
Coming to the previous generation Fold and Flip, 920,000 units were registered in the 1-week pre-order schedule of these devices. This time, the latest Fold and Flip 4 pre-order volume rose by 5.%, which is the highest among Samsung’s Foldable devices.
Talking about the current generation devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 received 138,000 daily pre-orders, surpassing the Galaxy S22 series (more than 127,000 units) and setting a new sales record for the Galaxy series.
The three well-known mobile operators in South Korea simultaneously launched the network access procedures for pre-order customers on the 23rd of August morning. Samsung indicates that the number of users accessing the network on that day will exceed the record of the previous generation (270,000 units on the first day of access to the network). The online procedures for pre-order users will end on the 25th, and the new phone will be officially launched on the 26th.
