After PS5, PS4 also get latest software update with v10.00

Recently, Sony announced a new software update for the PlayStation 5 players that unlocks 1440 video output and more. Now, the company updated another PlayStation in its portfolio.

This time, PlayStation 4 received a new update with version number 10.00 and the latest update bring some news for the old generation PlayStation console. Let’s take a look at the latest update’s changelog.

PS4 10.00 Update Changelog:

  • When using the Internet browser, you can now choose between two types of zoom functions, namely “Zoom” and “Enlarge”.
  • “Zoom” allows you to increase the size of elements on the page while adjusting the layout so that everything fits without having to scroll left and right.
  • The “Enlarge” option increases the size of all elements on the page without changing the layout.
  • The maximum zoom/magnification value is now 500%.

Then there is some news dedicated to Remote Play :

  • It is now easier to use your PC or Mac keyboard when using PS Remote Play.
  • The text entry box has been removed, so you can use the keyboard to type directly on the PS5 or PS4.
  • In addition to typing, you can now use the keyboard to control games that support it.
