Unfied Pixel Launcher search available in Android 13 QPR1

In every beta version of Android 13 Unified Pixel Launcher Search is available and Google brings this in the Android 13 stable launch. Now, the Unified Pixel Launcher search is available in Android 13 QPR1. The search field at the top of your grid is the same as the one at the bottom of the Pixel Launcher.

The User is able to launch the Google lens and perform the Google Assistant voice commands also. Now, users can search their data through images or visuals and web content. The search results depend on where you search from like if you search from the top grid it is limited to the four lines.

When you search the “From this device” section that shows app shortcuts, as well as results from the Settings app and Pixel Tips. When searching from the home screen that section doesn’t appear, it displays five apps in the row and web content.

Further, go to the Pixel Launcher Home settings > Search your phone only shows “Search the web” with “People” there (contacts and conversations) missing. It may be because of the A/B test. This all search option resembles the previous way of searching which is also in ANdroid 13 stable. Unified Pixel Launcher search is available in Android 13 QPR1 similar to the latest UI on the devices.

The company said that the disappearance of icons from the Unified Pixel Launcher search will resolve in the next release.
