Recently, OnePlus rolled out types of updates to its latest and older flagship devices. However, only a few devices has been updated with the August 2022 patch update yet. The good news for the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro owners, they received the August 2022 security patch update right now.
Currently, this update is rolling out in India and Europe and other regions will get this update soon. You can check the complete changelog which is mentioned below.

Owners of the OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro can receive notification of this update. By chance you don’t receive an update notification then check the update manually by going to the device Settings > System > System settings > Download and Install!
Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you to download it over WIFI so that you will not face any errors.
