Samsung Galaxy M21 grabbed August 2022 security patch update

The Samsung Galaxy M21 Powering smartphone is an Exynos 9611 SoC that is capable of delivering decent performance. It is available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. It also comes in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. The Galaxy M21 sports a triple camera setup with the highlight being the 48-megapixel primary scanner.

Now, the latest report informed that the Galaxy M21 now received the August 2022 security patch update in India. The latest update brings normally security improvements and nothing else. As per the report, this update carries firmware number M215FXXU3CVH1 and the size package of this update is around 850MB.

As usual, aside from the Android OS vulnerabilities addressed by Google, the August 2022 security patch also includes dozens of fixes for Samsung SVE items. In other words, these are fixes that concern only Samsung’s software. They concern aspects like Samsung Finder, Wearable Manager Installer, Contacts storage, the Messages app, Knoxguard lock, and more.

How To Update:

  • Using two fingers, swipe down from the top of the screen, and then tap the Settings icon.
  • Swipe and then tap Software update or System updates. It will vary between models.
  • Tap Download and install, or Check for system updates. If an update is available it should begin downloading automatically, although you may need to tap Download now on some devices.
  • When the download is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.

Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you to download it over WIFI so that you will not face any errors.
