Unicode approved 31 new emoji and Google enables you to use them

Last month, an update came which said that some emojis will get approval from Unicode in September. Now, those new emojis are approved by Unicode which inc. As we know Emojis make our communication effective and easy to express our feelings to others. Unicode Consortium screens the candidate’s emojis and then updates the emoji library. This September Unicode 15.0 approve 31 new emojis. Google also joined and offer some emojis of its own.

The version of Unicode Standard includes 4,489 new characters, there are also 20 characters included, and these will use on smartphones and computers. These new emojis are all skin tone variations of left and right pushing hands, plus the blackbird zero width joiner (ZWJ) sequence and if you count all these are 31 emojis.

There is not much to get from previous emojis updates but now in this update, the new plain pink heart is most attractive. There are also two more hearts one is a light blue heart and a gray heart. These new emojis are included in the Unicode 15 standard including characters from Kawi and
NagMundari scripts. Companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Samsung have to begin including these new emojis in their keyboard apps and software.

Google brings the Noto Emoji font which includes all these new Emojis and also updated the monochrome version of the font. Google also released many animated versions of its emoji. Some emojis you can use in your messages and Google publishes the whole set on the web and you just need to include them in your projects. The company makes the use of emojis more interesting through COLRv1, with this you can the colors of emojis like Noto Color.

All emojis are colorful and their use adds more color to chats or makes them enjoyable.
