Google Chrome testing a new security feature

Recently Google introduced the sidebar feature of Microsoft Edge in its Chrome browser. Using Sidebar Search, you can highlight any text on a web page to get more information about it without even opening a new tab. Search results are displayed in a pane on the right side of the current web page, showing all relevant links, images, definitions, and videos.

After Edge’s sidebar search, now Google is going to put another feature of Microsoft Edge in its Chrome browser. Microsoft introduced the Sign in with device password setting in its Edge browser a while back. The Edge’s autofill feature adds a new layer of protection. When a user auto-fills a password in a form, it prompts the user to auto-fill the password before. The device prompts for credentials.

A Twitter user named leopaeva64 found that Google Chrome Canary already offers similar functionality.
