Google Tasks latest update brings Assistant integration

Google has been working on its task management solutions for the last three months and looking to migrate Assistant and Calendar Reminders to Google Tasks.

The change is now finally coming up, as it works fine with the Hey Google commands but the touch seems to be a bad experience on Android or assistant.google.com/reminders results. Now, the company is looking to shift the Assistant Reminders to Google Tasks from Google Calendar.

Now if you create anything it will be visible in the Google Tasks list across the Android and iOS mobile apps, as well as the Workspace sidebar in Gmail, Drive, Docs, etc.

Other existing integrations include the “Add to Tasks” button in Gmail and Google Chat. This big Google Tasks upgrade that replaces Reminders and adds Assistant is rolling out in the “coming months.”
