OnePlus Nord 2 grabbed September 2022 patch update

According to the latest report, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphone owners now received the latest OxygenOS-based software update. Earlier, the stable update of OxygenOS 12.1 was released for the OnePlus Nord 2 5G which fixes some bugs and optimized some camera features.

Recently, the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro grabbed OxygenOS 13 Open Beta based on the Android 13 update in India and North America. Now, at this time, the Chinese tech giant released the latest OxygenOS 12.1-based software update for the OnePlus Nord 2 5G.

According to the screenshot shared by a OnePlus Community member, the latest OxygenOS 12.1-based software update comes with the build number DN2101_11_C.09 and the size package of this update is around 639MB.

The latest software update also includes the fresh September 2022 security patch update. You can check the complete changelog which is mentioned below.



  • Integrates the September 2022 security patch update to enhance the system security.


  • Fixes an issue where the front camera might turn off during video calls in some scenarios.

How To Update OnePlus Nord 2:

Connect to an available Wi-Fi network, if you use mobile data, there will be a warning displayed

  • For Android 10, Go to [Settings] – [system] – [system updates]
  • Click [check for updates], if there is an update, click [DOWNLOAD&INSTALL NOW]

Note: This OTA will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we’ll begin a broader rollout in a few days.
