For Google Wallet Wear OS watches now regain double-click shortcut

Some smartwatches need to double tap for the pay when Google Pay is replaced by the Google Wallet. To resolve this problem Google brings the new Wear OS shortcut. With the Google Wallet on Wear OS along with Android phones, users can pay their bills with debit and credit cards also.

Some devices like Fossil Gen 5 but not Gen 6 and TicWatch let you launch Google Pay fast. As per the July Google Wallet update, this ability won’t work anymore. This setting is the default so the user can’t set it again. In addition, using another button to launch Google Wallet but at the expense of an existing Wear OS shortcut, or using a watch face complication.

From the recent updates, users notice that on-watch Wear OS app via Google Play, users have found that double-clicking now launches Google Wallet. This happened with users who are using the Fossil Gen 5 and TicWatch owners with version 2.59.0.471251175. For resolving this problem there is no need for a full OS update but maybe decrease some problems at least.

On the other hand, Google Wallet on Wear OS gets more impressive features and functionality later this year. All these updates will roll out as per the regions.
