Instagram has released a new feature, with this users can upload longer uninterrupted Stories. In this, users can upload a video on Instagram for longer than 60 seconds, and while uploading it, it won’t break into segments. The company started testing the modification with a particular user late last year and now it is released for all users.

The company always working to add new enhancements to the Stories. As per the Meta spokesperson, now with new improvements in Instagram stories, users can post videos that length up to 60 seconds, and videos won’t divide into 15-seconds clips. This new feature is now available in the app, it can be used by both users and viewers. With this feature now user unable to tap to get through a long video that they may not want to see. But the user may have this setting turned off when they like to see short and small-sized videos.

Back in June, the social network has been increasing the time limits on its video products. Instagram added support for longer Instagram Reels of up to 90 seconds, up from the previous 60 second-limit. Instagram also recently made a system change that sees new video posts that are shorter than 15 minutes automatically shared as Reels.

Adam Mosseri said that Instagram would consolidate all of its video products around Reels and continue to grow the short-form product. When this feature executes you may be able to see the lines between Stories and Reels being blurred.
