Bungie Help tweeted on his official Twitter handle and wrote: Human error on a new cheat detection caused some incorrect bans to occur this week. We’ve turned the new detection off while investigating the error and processing the related unbans. All preexisting anti-cheat systems are still in effect. More details are to come in this week’s TWAB.

Let all Destiny players know that the anti-cheating system will be kept on continuously as the company wants to ensure that fraud does not happen during this time. But we are yet to ascertain the reason for this false ban and there is no confirmation from Bungie whether the affected players will be compensated or not.
