On Pixel phones’ Gboard all-new haptic feedback

A few weeks back Google modified the haptic feedback for its own Gboard keyboard app on the Pixel phones to a worse version. When the latest Android 13 QPR1 Beta 2 update comes in there the haptic feedback has been completely modified again.

Now Google is changing the haptic feedback of its own keyboard app again

With his change now the Gboard is more clickable than before. The main added feature is vibration now for a very short time. I even had to turn the vibration strength on the Gboard to 100 percent so that the haptic feedback was still noticeable. Google scaled it back significantly and made it much more subtle.

In place of specifying the vibration strength in milliseconds, you now select a percentage in the new version:

Gboard (1)

At last, It looks like the update was successful, on the Pixel 6 Pro the haptic feedback in the Gboard enhancement is a better improvement so far compared to past updates.
