Google recently released 36 new tones for the old Pixel devices and these are also signature tones of the newly launched Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Google also shared the 18 new wallpapers for the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro devices.
According to the latest report, Google keeps updating its smart products including services and applications. Today, Google updates its Google Camera application v8.7 (8.7.165.478871997.18) with new content and some optimizations. Also, Google Camera 8.7 brings some new improvements for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
With the Google Camera 8.7, Night sight now allows you to choose the shooting interval from 3 to 6 seconds (also in automatic Night sight in Camera mode) in Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. You can check the 8.7 changelogs which are mentioned below.

What’s New in Google Camera 8.7
- The quick settings button at the top now has corresponding icons for each capture mode. For video, also shows the current quality and indicates whether or not the “Speech Enhancement” is enabled.
- The motion mode shutter icon has been changed again (Pixel 6 and up).
- Returned the “Modes” tab opening animation that was missing in the last version.
- Returned the “Frequent Faces” feature (was disabled some time ago).
Changes for Pixel 7 and 7 Pro:
- Updated the zoom slider interface.
- Updated Night sight now allows you to choose the shooting interval from 3 to 6 seconds (also in automatic Night sight in Camera mode).
- A new “Cinematic” mode.
- A 10-bit-HDR switch was added to the quick settings in video mode.
- Added “Auto Macro” switch in the settings for the Pixel 7 Pro.
