On 12 October 2022, Samsung launched it’s latest One UI version One UI 5 with new features like Split screen, extracting text from anywhere, app languages, Multiple timers much more. Now, Samsung testing the One UI 5 for some weeks then will plan to publish which depends on the Android 13 for the Galaxy S22 series later this month. Till now the latest testing version running in the background, and the details about it are now declared.

One UI 5 brings a New lock screen for Samsung users

Samsung brings some new ideas which can add to Android 13. The new lock screen at glance similar to the iOS 16. In One UI 5, you see the stacked widgets on the home screen, so you can alternately display the calendar with photos from your gallery.

The company bring some new changes related to the notifications. Bixby Text Call also lets you answer a call with text and have it read out loud, new routines, copy text from a picture into an app, and new security and privacy dashboard. Samsung users take a look at the Samsung blog entry, there are also many GIFs showing the new functions.

As per Samsung, the update to Android 13 will be distributed gradually in the coming weeks. The current flagship series will still be there in October and then the other Galaxy models from Samsung will gradually follow.
