MIUI close beta to stop for Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition and Redmi Note 9

Xiaomi released last month theĀ Redmi A1 phone which runs on Android 12 and provides an entry-level smartphone experience. Now, the company plans to release one more Xiaomi A series phone and its name is Redmi A1+. Redmi K40S will suspend the release of the MIUI development version because of the Android major update. This phone’s MIUI is based on Android 12.

Because of the Android version the other Xiaomi device suspend their MIUI development version like Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+. When the user restarts the device that behaves abnormally.

As per the announcement the MIUI development version test is based on the Android 13 for the Redmi K50 Pro and will complete soon. The company expects to fully push the MIUI development version based on Android 13 for this model around December. If users want then they take part in this internal test and can upgrade directly through OTA.

As per Xiaomi’s official announcement, from October 31, 2022, the following models will stop the public beta of the development version :

  • Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Edition, Redmi K30S Extreme Edition, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi 10X, Redmi 10X Pro, Redmi K30 Extreme Edition, Redmi Note 9.
  • Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 11 5G, Redmi Note 11E Pro.

Xiaomi officially advised users that if they face any problem with version updates then they have to forcibly stop using the device for 20 minutes.

Lastly, users can enter the settings, screen time management home page, slide to the bottom and, turn off the device’s continuous and use reminder also.
