Apple rolling iOS 16.1, iPadOS 16.1 and macOS 13 Ventura release Candidates to Developers

On October 18, 2022, the iPhone maker has now released iOS 16.1 and iPadOS 16.1 to developers ahead of their public release. According to the previous news, the stable update is scheduled for Monday, October 24.

Developers can now able to install the iOS 16‌ and iPadOS 16 profiles from the Apple Developer Center, and once installed, the betas will be available OTA. As per the changelog, the latest iOS 16.1 brings support for Live Activities, the interactive notification feature.

Apple’s official release statement –

This update introduces iCloud Shared Photo Library making it easy to keep your family photos up to date. This release also adds support for third-party apps in Live Activities, support for Apple Fitness+ on iPhone even if you don’t have an Apple Watch, and includes other features and bug fixes for your iPhone.

Apart from this Apple also released the release candidate version of macOS 13 Ventura. macOS Ventura’s latest update brings Stage Manager, a new feature that lets Mac users focus on a task while keeping other apps.
