OnePlus 9/9 Pro and OnePlus 9RT received OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 2 update

OnePlus just released the October 2022 security patch update for the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8 Pro in India which allows users to access the 5G network in India and also fixed some camera issues.

Now, OnePlus rolled out the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 2 update for the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9RT. In order to upgrade to this build successfully, be sure that your device is in the latest OxygenOS 12 version (C.07) for the OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus 9 Pro while the OxygenOS 12 version (C.63/C.65 for IN&NA users and C.64/C.65 for EU users) for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.

Known Issues

  • In order to use the Jio 5G function, your device needs to be rebooted again after upgrading.
  • After switching the system dynamic wallpaper, the lock screen time is displayed abnormally.
  • Due to the control of the system power consumption, the screen would stay at 60Hz when using WhatsApp and Snapchat.
  • Eye comfort mode cannot be activated in specific scenarios. (Only For OnePlus 9RT)
