Google Wi-Fi Provisioner received a new update

Google keeps updating its latest and older devices including the Pixel lineup, Next Wi-Fi, Nest Doorbell, Nest Hub, and also applications (Android & Wear OS). Recently, we were informed that Google Photos will soon allow you to select the default app for editing RAW files.

According to the latest report, Google Wi-Fi Provisioner’s latest update rolling out via Play Store with a new explanation of the app. The latest update comes with the build number 1.2.482943591, the new update fixes some bugs and brings some improvements.

The Google Wi-Fi Provisioner is included with your device and enables over-the-air updates for Carrier Wi-Fi network configurations. This feature makes it easy for devices to access more connectivity in more places.

What is Google Wifi Provisioner for?

The Google Wi-Fi Provisioner is used to “Provision and manage Wi-Fi network configurations.” There are no other details with (old) generic screenshots used for the Play Store listing. On a Pixel 6 Pro, 7, and 7 Pro, version 1.2.

Is Google Wifi discontinued?
