Google Home:

Google recently made a statement that Google Home will soon receive an update that will let you view the Nest camera and doorbell feeds on the web. Now a new report has come out for the iOS Google Home app that Google will soon introduce new features for its Google Home iOS app such as:

  • Users can request an in-app invite to try Google Home features in a public preview.
  • These include the new design of the app, favorites, automation and the new camera.
  • Users can then add live streams from the Nest cameras to their favorites to see them right when they launch the app.

Gboard:

Google Gboard’s latest change includes a back button, page name, and pill-shaped search field. The Emoji Kitchen carousel now appears underneath that top bar.

Note: This Gboard emoji picker redesign is appearing for a lot of beta users this morning, but it’s not yet widely rolled out.
