In this, you will know about how it works. First users need to begin the Safety Check countdown. Its time interval depends on the how long user wants it. After that, you save the contacts that you want to inform. Once you start the safety count down and don’t dismiss then it will display some options. Those options are to dismiss the check, call your emergency contacts and share your location, or call emergency services.

This feature work when you go for a short trip and come back in two-three days. On that trip you expect that some emergency will come and need to be alert then this will help you.

Steps to activate Safety Check on your Pixel

This safety check feature you will find in the Safety app on your Pixel. It sits with other important tools. Below following will help to search and operate it.

  1. On your Pixel, open the Safety app.
  2. Tap Safety check.
  3. Choose a reason so people know why you’re out and then set a
  4. duration.
  5. Hit Next.
  6. Choose which emergency contacts to notify if you don’t respond.
    Note: If you don’t respond, they’ll be sent your real-time
  7. location.
  8. Hit Turn on.

When you start the safety check count down some mandatory input like you’re going to out. There you need to mention the duration of the trip. At the bottom, you have the option to stop the Safety Check countdown, as well as start an emergency call.
