For this users need to install it on their device then it will be ready as before. If a user wants to use the WhatsApp account on the other device app ask for the number when setting up it. Alternatively, the user can use the help menu for the pairing mode through the QR code. Then this QR code can scan with the WhatsApp smartphone Settings > linked devices same as for the WhatsApp app for Windows and macOS.

This requires WhatsApp installed by default and ready for use. On the second device, the phone number is usually requested when setting up WhatsApp, but you can use the “Help” menu to call up the pairing mode, which ensures that a QR code is displayed. This can then be scanned with the “WhatsApp smartphone” (Settings > Linked devices), as is also the case with WhatsApp on the web or the WhatsApp app for Windows and macOS.

Lastly, this feature of WhatsApp is now in the beta phase. In the coming days, this feature will come for all users.
