On search over history Google Play Store tests advertising apps

Users need changes day by day to their app preferences. Sometimes they install the same app over and over when they uninstall it and sometimes they use one for a long. When users need to install one app again or need to update then this new feature will help them. The new app launches its advertisement in app stores was traditional. Now, Google directly testing the surfacing apps in Play Store search. When the user clicks on the search bar then the keyboard appears along with the four most recent queries.

One user experiences that when he goes to search for the app after clicking on the fields there are some apps displayed that he doesn’t search for before. In this app’s list, there are all games like Summoners War: Chronicles, Call of Duty Mobile Season 10, and Fishdom Solitaire. When the user enters the letter which is similar to the past queries then only the search history shows and also shows the autocomplete suggestions.

Currently, don’t know if these suggestions displayed are paid or just suggestions. At first sight, the Games tab does not show any of them in the Ads-supported “Suggested for you” carousel, but COD Season 10 is rather prominently advertised in the feed.

November’s update of the Google Play System does include [Phone] New formats for search results and New Features to help you discover the Apps & Games you love. This change simply is related to that.

Lastly, the user searches for the app and downloads it once. But when users mistakenly uninstall the app then this history search feature helps them.
