Samsung may reduce the production of 13% smartphones in 2023

Recently, reported that Samsung aims to reduce its smartphone manufacturing by 13% which comes in next year. As per the updates they reduced orders by about 30 million units. If putting the focus on which phone model reduces then it is the A series and M series mid-to-low-end models that the sales force.

Samsung’s low-end mobile phone supply chain will be affected, including MediaTek, Largan, and other companies. In between them, MediaTek mainly supplies the main chip, Largan provides lens modules, Shuanghong provides cooling modules, and Jingtech is responsible for quartz components.

As per past updates, MediaTek and Samsung are the most closely affected, so the impact will be the greatest. According to the latest data from the market research organization Canalys, Samsung is currently the mobile phone brand with the highest market share in the world (about 22%).
